So, I'm here at Fort Hood, TX. It's been one heck of a weekend- trying desperately(and failing) to pack all my worldly belongings into boxes so my parents can remodel, the fact that i'm leaving finally sinking in; followed by the associated emotional turmoil, three nights in a row with less than 5 hours of sleep... WOW. I'm totally burned out right now. But, we have to wake up bright and early tomorrow and start at it again. I wound up getting some extra time with my mom this morning, which was really nice, and I managed to not become a bawling mess when we said good bye.
Unfortunately, I didn't get any sleep on the plane, and our barracks really stink, but in the words of my General- "Embrace the suck." So here goes. God has me here for a reason, and I'm gonna rest in that and the knowledge that He'll get me through whatever comes down the pipe.
I know this is short, but at least I'm back on the horse, right? I love you, Brandon!
Oh, and P.S., Changes coming to my site design, possibly a new Blog page all together.
